It's Christmas time!! Everybody celebrate in different ways.

my family in Chile celebrate Christmas the 24th

First the extended family get together for dinner bringing kids and gifts hidden in the trunk of the car or in bin bags. The same as here, in Australia, the houses are decorated with lights, glitter and magic. Every family brings a plate to share or prepare something together. Dinner is serve very late around 10 pm and the children play around full of joy and expectation barely able to eat something.
Then finally around 11:30 pm is time to go for a walk around the neighbourhood looking to the sky for Santa Claus, every kid swears having seen him at least once. Or hearing the bells. At night everything is enchanting.
Always there's an adult that couldn't come for the walk and he or she is in charge of arranging all the gifts around the tree and preparing the scene. It's already midnight! it's time to go back.
When the kids arrive after the adventure and see this magical revelation the surprise, screams of joy and gleamy eyes you witness is priceless.

THRESHOLDS A purpose other than beauty

I'm very pleased to let you know that our exhibition is coming out nice and smoothly after a few months of hard work and a lot of conference calls between Helen and I, I'm very happy with the outcome.
I'would love to see you all at the opening on Tuesday 30 of May at
6 pm in Studio 20/17 project space
53 Ridge street North Sydney NSW
Thresholds exhibition displays the art work of Helen Wyatt jeweller and myself.

The work I made for this exhibition is mostly a metaphoric view about native landscapes trying to survive in this times clashing with city landscapes and populated areas.
I made native landscapes, tree fossils and street map fossils.
The body of work is made in painted enamel, using stencils and tiny brushes by hand.

Say it with a Ring

Statement silver quartz ring

We are approaching very fast to the 💖 day!!! If you are in love maybe you can say it with a ring or a necklace, or earrings or maybe don't say anything and just give it.
The gesture is what counts.
